In 2007 Joe moved back to Cheboygan and partnered with Daniel R. Nieland to form Nieland & Kosanke, PC.  Prior to partnering with Dan, Joe had practiced public accounting for five years at a large regional firm in East Lansing, MI, and had also spent two years as the controller of a steel fabrication and construction company located in Lansing, MI.  He is a graduate of Cheboygan Area Schools and holds a degree in Accounting from Michigan State University.

Carla graduated from Cheboygan High School in 1995; she came to work at Nieland & Kosanke’s in November 2011.  She is the one who works the front desk, schedules all the appointments, answers the phone, and assists in any other needs the client might have. In her spare time she enjoys watching her son play baseball and hockey, and also loves to boat in the summer and play golf.
